Make the Most of Your Membership

A new year brings the promise of a fresh start. An opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally. Regarding the latter, we're excited about the role PEMAC can play, considering a number of new and improved membership features this year to which you have access.

Membership information sessions - Late last year, we created an information session for new members. Due to high demand from our current members, we have scheduled similar information sessions throughout the year to share how to best optimize the value of your membership. Certification information session - As part of our strategy to enhance the value of PEMAC certifications, we will be hosting an information session on how to leverage your designation and provide details on the continuing professional development requirement. Stay tuned for the date announcement

Globally aligned certifications - For members who aren't certified, or those looking to add another credential, the competency based, globally aligned certifications provide an excellent opportunity for recognition. Take the self-assessment to see which certification is the best fit for you.

MainTrain - Following the record-breaking attendance in Winnipeg, this year's MainTrain in beautiful St. John, New Brunswick promises to be an exceptional event. Stay tuned for announcements of keynote speakers and the full program. We hope you'll join us for great networking, enlightening presentations and delicious seafood!

Chapters - With a renewed energy, our chapters will be offering outstanding professional development activities at various times during the year. Check out the event page for the latest.

Lunch 'n Learn webinars - We have a robust schedule of informative webinars throughout the year to enhance your knowledge and keep you abreast of the latest in the profession. Keep an eye out for messages to register.

Contribution to the profession - Through our formal volunteer program, there are numerous opportunities to contribute PEMAC and the profession. Check out Volunteer Central for the latest postings.

With all this, in addition to our industry leading education programs, and not forgetting the 1-year complimentary membership for those enrolled, you can see why it's never been a better time to join PEMAC.
