Join the Pilot of New Edition of MMP Module 4: Financial Management

Category:

PEMAC is excited to announce that transformation is coming to one of the Maintenance Management Profession (MMP) modules.

Over the past several months, PEMAC, together with a group of dedicated volunteer subject-matter experts, has been recreating MMP Module 4: Financial Management for the Maintenance Manager.

The revised curriculum will empower maintenance managers with a solid understanding of financial management principles and equip them with the necessary skills to make informed and financially responsible decisions in their organizations. This updated module bridges the gap between maintenance management and financial disciplines, enabling participants to become proficient communicators with finance professionals and significantly contribute to their organization's overall performance.

There are a variety of multimedia resources and a new textbook, Finance for Non-Financial Managers, referenced throughout the new curriculum.  It also offers numerous opportunities for participant engagement both in the classroom and within their organizations. Upon completion of the modules, participants will have a strong foundation in financial management principles and the practical knowledge to apply their new skills within their organization to drive improvements and efficiencies.

We are pleased to be piloting this new curriculum with Northern Lakes College and Bow Valley this Spring. Course details are below, with registration open and spaces available at both institutions for those interested in experiencing the updated version of MMP Module 4.
