Lunch and Learn Webcast: Implementation of a Maintenance Planner at the City of Saskatoon Water Treatment Plant (12pm Central Time)

Registration is closed for this event

Description:
Planning and scheduling are essential components of an effective maintenance program. The City of Saskatoon Water Treatment Plant has historically not had a Maintenance Planner and has gaps in its maintenance workflow management. A business case was developed highlighting the benefits of a Maintenance Planner to the organization with significant cost savings. The improvements to existing gaps in workflow management are expected to lead to more effective and fiscally responsible decision making, resourcing, and data management. The business case was approved to proceed with the implementation of a Maintaince Planner at the plant. The implementation of a Maintenance Planner is in process. It has been a significant change management effort incorporating a Maintenance Planner into the organization. With the current readiness level and existing workflow processes there have been several challenges, successes, and lessons learned. However, the plant is continuously improving and is trending upwards in its maturity of workflow management with a Maintenance Planner.
