Education Overview

The educational programs are structured to help professionals at all levels, from beginners to seasoned experts, improve their knowledge and skills in the interrelated fields of maintenance management and asset management. Our curriculum is aimed at improving organizational performance in asset-intensive industries as well as individual career prospects.

Member subject matter experts develop and maintain the curriculum which is delivered through authorized post-secondary teaching institutions across Canada. The courses are led by approved instructors who are typically practicing professionals that bring practical experience and examples to all lessons. Courses are schedule for working practitioners, and can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

MMP Certification Program

Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Program

This maintenance management education is vital for enhancing the effectiveness, safety, and profitability of asset-intensive organizations. The eight module program provides the expertise needed to optimize asset performance and decision-making.

Delivered in English and French, live online and in person, the program is designed for a variety of roles responsible for operations, or maintenance of complex or critical physical assets, across all industries.

The program offers a variety of recognition opportunities and leads to the “MMP” certification.

Asset Management Professional (AMP) Program

The program introduces participants to the latest in strategic asset management thinking, builds skills in key subject areas, including risk and knowledge management, and provides tools for strategic decision making at each stage of the asset life cycle.

Delivered asynchronously online, it is designed for mid-career professionals responsible for managing decisions related to the core life cycle functions of assets. The six courses provide a broad yet practical understanding, encouraging collaboration in the promotion and implementation of asset management principles.

The program leads the “CAMP” certification.

Recognised CAMA2 Exam Prep Course

The course is ideal for senior and mid-career professionals, from any sector, who wish to refresh and increase their asset management knowledge and preparing to write the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA2) certification exam. The certification demonstrates a professional’s understanding of asset management systems, and the ability to identify gaps that an organization may have against the ISO standards.
