Maintenance Management Professional Certification Program
Over the last 20 years our focus has been on the development and growth of our signature Maintenance Management Professional Certificate program. To date over 1200 people have completed the program.
The Maintenance Management Professional certificate program focuses on the tools, techniques, strategies and skills necessary for effective management of a business’s existing physical assets. Graduates have the knowledge and skills to drive improvements in uptime, production capacity, equipment reliability, safety, environmental compliance, economic life of assets, return on investment and effective communication between departments.
Teams of PEMAC volunteers have developed and maintain the MMP program curriculum. PEMAC qualifies the instructors and authorizes teaching institutions to offer the program.
Dedicated to remaining leaders in education and certification, in 2012 PEMAC initiated a new certificate program in Asset Management aligned with ISO 5500x, the Asset Management Professional Certificatation program.
The Asset Management Professional program is designed for mid-career professionals from a variety of backgrounds (IT, engineering and business management) who have responsibility for managing decisions with respect to the core life cycle functions such as design, selection, operation, maintenance of an organization’s assets. It introduces the participants to the latest in strategic asset management thinking from recognized global organizations, develops the capacity to engage others and build their knowledge and skill in key subject areas such as risk management, knowledge management (enterprise database systems) and introduces tools for strategic decision making at each stage of the asset lifecycle. Like our signature MMP program it finishes with a “Capstone” project, offering the opportunity to apply the participants' new knowledge and skills to develop a real-life project recommendation.
Becoming a Certified Asset Management Assessor Course
This course helps practitioners establish their global credentials in asset management knowledge and comprehension as it prepares them for WPiAM's CAMA certification exam. CAMA certification demonstrates understanding of true asset management and the new standard for management systems for AM for which ISO 55001 exists. The course is offered on-demand online through Northern Lakes College, in association with PEMAC .

Note that offerings of the MMP program are delivered live online by teaching institution partners and available from anywhere. The MMP program can also be delivered onsite as private training to organizations.
