Just released: PEMAC 2019 - 2020 Annual Report!

Introduction

The year from July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 was something of a turning point in PEMAC’s history. This report briefly highlights some of the activities and milestones including the 1500th MMP designation and 100th CAMP professional designations being awarded, the launch of two new Asset Management awards, the launch of PEMAC Now magazine, the conclusion of a federally funded project, “Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP)”, a successful bid on the next phase of that funding program “MAMP3”, and an official change of name for the association from PEMAC Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada to PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada. MainTrain 2019 was held this year which was a dynamic and well-attended conference held in Edmonton, Alberta.

Given the state of the pandemic at this writing, we look back on that event with great fondness and look forward to the possibility of hosting many more like it in the not-too-distant future!
