PEMAC Issues 2000th MMP Certification

Mississauga, July 24, 2024 – PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada announces a significant milestone in its Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification program.

Earlier this month PEMAC awarded the 2000th MMP certification – a tremendous statement of the achievements of practitioners who have met, and continue to meet, a significant standard of professionalism.

The MMP program provides practitioners with the strategies, techniques, tools and skills necessary for effective management of a business’s physical assets. Successful completion of the eight-module program leads to the widely recognized MMP certification.

MMP certification holders represent a variety of roles, including maintenance and reliability managers, superintendents, coordinators, planners and schedulers working in public and private sector organizations, responsible for operations and/or maintenance of complex or critical physical assets.

For more than thirty-years MMP graduates have been significantly contributing to their organizations and communities they serve, driving improvements in production, capacity, reliability, safety and environmental compliance.

Delivered live online, in person, and as private offerings through PEMAC’s teaching institution partners in English and French, the program continues to be in demand by individuals and organizations, leading to a record number of MMP enrollments this year.

“PEMAC celebrates the tremendous achievements of all those who have achieved the MMP certification. The certification establishes their credibility and demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning. The many organizations that recognize MMP as a requirement for their teams and potential team members are a testament to the value of the MMP certification,” shares Nicolle Guillen, Manager of Education and Professional Development, PEMAC.
