PEMAC Recognizes Kamorudeen Abass with Maintenance Management Leadership Award
Mississauga (October 10, 2024) – PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada presented Kamorudeen Abass with the 2024 Maintenance Management Leadership Award during its recent PEMAC Awards ceremony held in Saint John, New Brunswick as part of the MainTrain conference. The ceremony celebrated excellence in the maintenance, reliability and asset management profession.
This award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to advancing maintenance management in their organizations or within Canada. Based out of Sparwood, British Columbia, Kamorudeen is the General Supervisor of Maintenance Water Operations at EVR – A Glencore Company. He has demonstrated leadership qualities within his organization that have resulted in increased maintenance and asset management knowledge across his team, and savings for his organization.
“As described in the nomination from his colleague, Kamorudeen has taken a multi-phased approach to delivering results and savings for his organization. He has led the growth, and improved engagement, of a team that works towards a shared goal of maintenance management excellence,” states Alan Cox, Chair of the PEMAC Awards Committee.
