PEMAC & SMRP Extend Their Partnership
MISSISSAUGA, (October 20, 2022) - PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada (PEMAC) and the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) are proud to announce that the associations have entered into an Memorandum of Understanding to extend their partnership.
The associations have already been successfully collaborating for over ten years on the Global Forum of Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) and are two of the founding partners of the World Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM), working closing on initiatives including the Global Certification Scheme in Asset Management.
Through discussions that have culminated in this Memorandum of Understanding, PEMAC and SMRP have identified a number of avenues to expand their collaboration through focused attention on education, certification and networking opportunities. As specific initiatives are undertaken, further details will be announced.
“With PEMAC’s focus of enabling excellence in maintenance, reliability, and asset management through collaboration, applied learning, and leadership, we are proud to partner with SMRP towards this common goal,” shares Jean-Pierre Pascoli, President of PEMAC’s Board of Directors. “We look forward to expanding the relationship we have built while collaborating globally and will continue to work together further promoting excellence in the profession across industries and sectors.”
“SMRP is focused on supporting the needs of the maintenance, reliability, and asset management community and we believe this synergistic relationship with PEMAC will provide members of both organizations the opportunity to leverage additional training, skills development, and best practice knowledge” stated Paul Casto Chair of SMRP. “We are excited to expand our long time working relationship with PEMAC and further the development of best practices in our profession across the globe.”
