Municipal Practitioners Start their Asset Management Journey

A group of cross-functional municipal practitioners from across Canada have begun their Asset Management learning journey this week with PEMAC's AMP Course One. This special offering is delivered live online over 5 days, began this week and will continue next week. Participants are starting to build skills that will meaningfully improve the AM practices at their municipality.

This special delivery of the AMP courses for municipal practitioners offers 90% savings on registration fees, special thanks to a grant that PEMAC has received. This initiative is offered through the Municipal Asset Management Program, which is delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada.

There are more opportunities to get started in the program when this special offering of AMP Course 1 is delivered again in January 2023, Spring and Fall 2023. Space is also available for the upcoming courses in this cohort program that are offered as 10-week asynchronous courses:

• Course 3 - Risk Management & Performance Improvement - November 1, 2022 to January 23, 2023
• Course 4 - Developing and Implementing Asset Lifecycle Delivery Activities - February 7 to April 17, 2023
• Course 5 - Asset Management Knowledge - May 2 to July 10, 2023
• Course 6 - Capstone - September 12 to November 20, 2023
