This is an opportunity to advance PEMAC's Education activities as a member of the committee team. Committee meets every 6-9 weeks to brainstorm ideas around increasing engagement in PEMAC education programs, participate in research/analytics, and initiatives to drive increased engagement and may use their networks to share the benefits and promote PEMAC education programs.  Meetings may be more frequent if engaged on specific committee projects.  

This role requires a high level of engagement and reliability when the committee is active. This is an opportunity for up to 5 volunteers to join for a minimum of a 1.5 year engagement.   The committee would like diversity of perspective and is seeking volunteers from different industries, regions, as well as past or current PEMAC course experience (AMP, MMP, CAMA).

 

Tasks:

 · Review Committee Terms of Reference, to set goals and objectives aligned with the strategic plan, and to agree on roles and tasks

· Select a Representative of the Education Committee to the Technical Leadership Council (currently in the development stage)

· Assist staff to set strategic priorities, objectives and measures for Education engagement objectives (See objective E1 on the Strategic Plan)

· Identify new markets for PEMAC Education offerings

· Identify and prioritize opportunities for new courses or programs

· Identify and oversee education projects that could advance with volunteer-only resources

· Continuously review progress in conjunction with staff, and make recommendations

· Well-organized and ready to advance work (must be able to attend meetings and do work between meetings) (essential)

· Knowledgeable about the AM landscape to identify opportunities and gaps (asset)
