Brian Sibley is the Maintenance Manager of the City of Saskatoon Water Treatment Plant. Prior to joining the City of Saskatoon, he worked as a Project Engineer with SaskWater and Wood (formerly Amec Foster Wheeler) on water infrastructure projects. In 2010 and 2013 Brian graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering. He is a long-term volunteer member of the Editorial Committee for the Western Canada Water magazine. Brian completed his MMP in 2023 and is actively implementing the teachings to elevate the maintenance program of the City of Saskatoon Water Treatment Plant.

Ashvin Koarga, Manager, Asset and Order Management, Metrolinx
Ashvin Koarga is currently the Manager of Asset and Order Management at Metrolinx based out of Toronto, Ontario. His role as manager is specific to the Presto branch of Metrolinx that deals with the fare transaction devices that customers engage with during their daily commutes around the GTHA (greater Toronto and Hamilton areas).
Before becoming Manager of the AOMG group, Ashvin was on assignment from his regular management role to help implement a new Asset Management system at Metrolinx. Ashvin was chosen to spearhead the implementation of this new asset tracking tool for his division Presto. His objective here was to help prepare the project and ensure the asset tool was configured for his divisions’ specific business needs; This included data configuration, process identification and training. He was chosen to represent Presto in this activity due to his knowledge of the system, its functions and his background in service implementation and delivery.
Prior to joining Metrolinx, Ashvin was Manager of Service Management at Canadian Tire Corporate Division specializing in the key service portfolio that looked after several of the distribution warehouse contracts. There he managed several contracts and helped negotiate and maintain service level agreements with stakeholders. Ashvin spent over 24 years with Canadian Tire moving through the ranks and specializing in application programming and business management.
Incorporating experiences, expertise, and knowledge throughout Ashvin’s career, the seamless transition into this current Asset Manager role stands as a testament to his adaptability and drive for success. With a proven track record of leveraging past achievements to drive innovation, Ashvin continues to pave the way for success in the ever-evolving landscape of Asset Management.

Chris O’Rielly is a Maintenance Supervisor for Heavy Equipment in Northern Alberta. A Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) by trade with over 10 years in maintenance leadership roles concentrating on primary mobile equipment. Chris an appetite for continuous improvement and always looking for the latest in technology to help on the journey for Zero unplanned downtime. Chris started his MMP journey in 2019 with aspirations of gaining a broader scope of the business of maintenance, gain new tools to assist in his current/future job roles, and gain new connections through the journey. Chris enjoys camping with his family, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and is a fan of F1.
