Robert Lash, CAMP, Supervisor Corporate Asset Management , Finance Division, Town of Caledon, Ontario, Canada
Robert Lash is the Supervisor, Corporate Asset Management (CAM) at The Town of Caledon. Rob leads the CAM team that is focused on helping the organization advance their asset management practices, process and technology as part of continuous improvement as it embarks on a major population growth period.
Rob has well-rounded experience in Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Management and in his previous roles at York Region and the City of Toronto, Toronto Water Division he worked in water, wastewater and stormwater plants, stations, transmission, distribution & storage systems during his 37years of employment. As the Manager of Optimized Maintenance, Rob led a major change management program that helped to build a Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Program across Toronto Water. He holds a Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) designation, previously held a Class 4 Drinking Water Treatment license, and holds several Trade licenses.
Rob volunteers on many projects and committees with Asset Management Association of Canada (PEMAC), currently is a PEMAC Board member and was a past president of PEMAC, a member of the Executive Committee of the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) and a past Director of World Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM). Robs contributions to M&R and Asset Management have resulted in recognition over the years including most recently, in 2021, Rob was the recipient of the prestigious “Sergio Guy Memorial Award” for his recognition of outstanding contributions.
