Lunch and Learn Webinar: Defining Preventive Maintenance Activities (12pm Eastern Time)

Registration is closed for this event

Description:

The acronym, 'PM," is sometimes used in reference to entire proactive maintenance programs. It also means "preventive maintenance".

The differences will be explained, and this webinar will focus primarily on the purely "preventive" activities - those restoration or replacement activities that are performed on a fixed interval.

This webinar will explain the differences among preventive, predictive and detective maintenance and describe the conditions when each is appropriate. You will learn how to determine if preventive can work and how to determine its frequency. We will also explain some common misunderstandings that lead to excessive preventive work and why you want to avoid it. Too much of this good thing, is actually bad. Your PM programs are often overloaded with too much of it.
