Introducing Our New Staff

Cindy Snedden, P. Eng

Cindy is a mechanical engineer with a hands-on background in upstream oil and gas production. She also holds a graduate diploma in Instructional Design and worked for 9 years as an industrial training coordinator in Northern Alberta.

Since first coming into contact with PEMAC and the MMP Program in 2004 Cindy has been actively engaged in supporting PEMAC’s vision and mission as a member, a College coordinator, the MMP Program Manager and the lead of the Certification committee of the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management.

MMP Program Manager:

Claire Russell

Claire has been directly involved with the MMP Program as the Resource Programs Coordinator at Northern Lakes College since 2005. Before working in industrial education and training Claire held a series of positions of increasing responsibility in the wood products manufactuing industry, including a term as safety manager and a term as a process relaibility manager at an OSB mill in Slave Lake, Alberta. Claire therefore has a clear view of the importance of the MMP program to maintenance and reliability practitioners from the shop-floor level.

Cindy and Claire were named co-recipients of the Sergio Guy Award in 2008 for their work in adapting the MMP program to a successful online delivery.

Head Office Administrator:

Melanie Mangion

Melanie holds a business diploma in transporation and distribution from Sheridan College which she has applied in various administration, accounting and payroll roles. She has worked extensively in the logistically complex transporation and fleet management environment.

Both Claire and Melanie are ready to serve our members in both official languages.
