  • Fort McMurray Chapter's February Professional Development & Networking Event

    On February 20th, PEMAC's Fort McMurray Chapter hosted a Professional Development & Networking event with a keynote by Matthew Hough, P.Eng., the Director of Engineering for one of the largest municipalities in North America, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

    The PEMAC GTA Chapter recently had a networking event on Thursday December 12, 2019 in Pickering.
    The group started at the Backyard Axe Throwing League followed by appies and dinner at the St. Louis Bar & Grill.

    On July 11, 2019 the Spring Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Capstone class presented their Capstone projects, qualifying each participant for their MMP professional designation.

  • Successful Inaugural Asset Management Manitoba Seminar for Winnipeg Chapter

    In a packed hotel in Winnipeg, the local Chapter held the first Asset Management Manitoba Seminar.
    The event was opened by our Key Note Speaker Mark Bryant, Chief Information Officer from PCL, who explained how PCL are improving safety and making financial savings in construction of major buildings by embracing the Internet-of-Things on their construction sites.

  • Successful Inaugural Event for Nova Scotia Chapter

    PEMAC's newest chapter, the Nova Scotia Chapter hosted it's first official event on Tuesday, April 16. There were 24 maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals in attendance from across Nova Scotia, and even a few who had travelled from New Brunswick! Each representing various industries as well as the municipal sector.

    Innovative approaches and applications to asset management was the theme of this week's GTA Chapter event. Hosted at the University of Toronto's Centre for Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Engineering (C-MORE) participants heard from a number of insightful speakers and received a tour of U of T specialized labs.
