The Plant Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Capstone Awards. Initiated in 2013, these awards recognize excellence in the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) program and brand new this year, the Asset Management Professional (AMP) Program.

The Board of Directors of the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) is pleased to announce that Dick Olver has been named the 2018 winner of the Sergio Guy Memorial award. This prestigious award recognizes the efforts of an individual who has made significant contributions to both our profession and our association.

September's issue of Machinery and Equipment Magazine is out and features an article by one of PEMAC's active members Erika Mazza, CMMS Specialist at Region Municipality of Durham.

PEMAC is proud to announce it will be working with municipalities in their efforts to improve infrastructure spending decisions through stronger asset management.

On February 28, Nigel D'Souza, GTA Chapter President and Director, PEMAC Board of Directors, represented PEMAC at the Empowering Smart Cities event in Mississauga hosted by Microsoft.  It was a great initiative in alignment with the Canadian

PEMAC Vice President, J.-P. Pascoli, and Executive Director, Cindy Snedden, proudly representing PEMAC at this year's Global Forum for Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) and World Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM) meetings in conjunction with the IFRAMI Asset Management Conference, that took place this week in Paris.

A group of Asset Management, maintenance and reliability professionals in Sarnia, Ontario met this week to connect, learn and contribute. PEMAC is proud to support these valuable opportunities for professionals across all industries to connect and share.
