PEMAC Chapter Events Across Canada Great Success

Category:

PEMAC was pleased to offer a number of chapter events across the country last month, bringing together over 150 professionals across the country to learn and network.

The GTA Chapter hosted a great event at the Greater Toronto Airport Authority that featured Dan Everitt from APG as our guest speaker. Dan spoke about RCM based maintenance strategies, and getting these strategies off the shelf and into your facility. Not always an easy task, but Dan provided some great tips.

Particpants at the GTA event also participated in some fasinating tours hosted by the GTAA. Guests learned about the GTAA People Mover System, and how the airport authority keeps employees and passengers moving around the airport. Participants also went underground at the Moore's Creek Storm Water Management Facility, to learn how the GTAA manages the storm water throughout the property.

Our Fort McMurray Chapter also hosted a very successful event recently, welcoming guest speaker Scott Clements, President & CEO of the Fort McMurray Airport Authority. Scott spoke to a packed room about the lessons learned in the recent YMM Terminal Project. Special thank you to our event host UE Systems as well for an insighful presentation.

PEMAC Members and guests in Calgary joined a sold out Alberta Chapter event featuring a presentation on Maintenance Management - Spare Parts Strategy & Preservation by Muhammad Saleem of TransCanada. Guests learned tips to developing the perfect spare parts inventory formula and how to minimize downtime. Special thank you to our event sponsor Emerson Reliability Consulting and Spartan Controls for a wonderful event.

PEMAC hosts informative events across the country throughout the year. We invite you to join us at our next one. Stay tuned for more details on future events.
