The Education Committee's role is to ensure that PEMAC's long-form education programs remain relevant and meet the needs of maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals across industries and sectors and also to identify avenues for increasing engagement in these programs for the benefit of asset management stakeholders.

Opportunities to participate are currently open to interested PEMAC members.

Congratulations to the following new designation holders so far in 2013: 

Ontario Skills Initiative Fund

On August 31st PEMAC submitted a proposal to the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities for a "Skills Initiative Funding" project directed towards education and training in the field of Asset Management.

First MMP Graduates in Manitoba First Cohort Starting in Saskatchewan

University College of the North (UCN) is the first and only post-secondary institution in Manitoba to offer the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Education and Certification Program to date. Having recently completed Module 8, the first graduates in Manitoba are currently applying for their MMP Certificates.
