The ISO committee for Asset Management, TC251, has published an update to the ISO 55002 document, now dubbed 55002:2018 Guidelines for the application of ISO 55001.

Pascoli, and Executive Director, Cindy Snedden, proudly representing PEMAC at this year's Global Forum for Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) and World Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM) meetings in conjunction with the IFRAMI Asset Management Conference, that took place this week in Paris.
On September 19th, PEMAC received notification for having been recognized by the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) as an approved provider of continuing education and training aligned with key subject areas related to reliability and physical asset management.

ISO 5500X Standards Will Be Available for Purchase Soon
The three new Standards: ISO 55000 / 55001 / 55002 have all been approved by the international community. It was announced by the chairperson at the IMC conference in December that the standard documents should be published this month, January 2014.
PEMAC sent two representatives to the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) sixth face-to-face meeting from 17th – 21st June 2012 which was held in conjunction with the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Annual Conference, Warwick, UK. Fittingly, the theme of the conference was “Building for the Future”.
